Issue Description : Users’ inbound calls placed to a Microsoft Teams group fail to ring on mobile devices.

More info : Affected users receive the pop-up notification of the incoming call, but there is no associated ring.

Final Update : 03/08/2023 08:36:00 AM – Microsoft confirmed that the fix has completed deployment and also confirmed with affected users that this fix has successfully remedied the issue.

Scope of impact : This issue may impact some users’ inbound calls placed to a Microsoft Teams group fail to ring on mobile devices.

Root cause : A recent deployment introduced a code issue that’s resulting in inbound calls placed to a Microsoft Teams group failing to ring on the desktop and web apps.

Next steps : Microsoft are investigating how the recent Experimentation and Configuration Service (ECS) change was resulting in a code conflict to prevent this problem from happening again.
