Issue Description : Admins’ device actions performed in the Microsoft Intune admin center may fail or be delayed.
More info : Impacted device actions may include, but may not be limited to:
– restarting devices
– resetting device passcodes
– locating lost or stolen devices
Delayed actions may succeed after eight hours.
Final Update : 19/07/2023 15:53:00 PM – Microsoft confirmed that the deployment of the fix is complete, and their telemetry shows the issue has been remediated.
Scope of impact : This issue may impact any admin attempting to perform device actions in the Microsoft Intune admin center on version 2307.
Root cause : A recent change to authentication configurations utilized when calling downstream services is resulting in 403 errors when performing these calls, which is preventing or delaying device actions performed by admins.
