Issue Description : Users are unable to view SharePoint Online document libraries in the Microsoft Teams desktop app Documents tab

More info : Affected users are seeing a blank page when accessing the document libraries via the Microsoft Teams desktop app.

While Microsoft are working to remediate this issue, affected users can still access the SharePoint Online document libraries by using the Microsoft Teams web client.

Final Update : 27/06/2023 08:41:00 AM – The fix has completed deployment and Microsoft have confirmed that impact is now remediated.

Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and all users accessing SharePoint Online document libraries via the Documents tab within the Microsoft Teams desktop client are impacted.

Root cause : The URL validation logic in a portion of infrastructure that facilitates the affected requests from the Microsoft Teams desktop client infrastructure is blocking certain SharePoint Online content from loading, resulting in impact.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing their service update validation procedure to help prevent the introduction of similar code issues in the future.
