Issue Status : RESOLVED

Issue Description : Admins were unable to view detonation details when accessing the Email entity page in Microsoft Defender for Office 365

Final Update : 11/05/2023 10:32:00 AM – Microsoft updated the affected authentication component and monitored the environment to validate that the detonation details were populating as expected.

Scope of impact : This issue may have potentially affected any admin attempting to view detonation details in the Email entity page in Microsoft Defender for Office 365.

Root cause : An authentication component responsible for viewing detonation details was not configured as expected.

Next steps : Microsoft are analyzing the affected authentication components to better understand what caused the initial impact to occur which will help them avoid similar situations in the future.
