Issue Description : Some users may be unable to add email recipients from the Global Address List (GAL) in Outlook on the web.

More Information : This event is not affecting the Outlook desktop client or Outlook Mobile.

Final Update : 01/05/2023 08:40:00 AM – Microsoft have developed and deployed a fix for a code regression in a recent standard service update.

Scope of impact : Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Root cause : A code regression has been identified within the GAL feature which may be inadvertently causing impact to occur.Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing their service update procedures to help better identify similar issues prior to their deployment in the future.
