Issue Description : Users can’t see custom Microsoft Teams apps in the Developer Portal website.

More Information : Users may see a difference in the applications listed between the Developer Portal website and the Microsoft Teams clients; this is to be expected as any applications created in the Microsoft Teams client should be seen in the Developer Portal website, but apps created through the Developer Portal website may not show in the Developer Portal app in Microsoft Teams.

Final Update : 22/03/2023 09:14:00 AM –  Microsoft have confirmed with users that they are experiencing continued impact with a few apps that these apps are now visible as expected as a result of reverting the problematic update. This issue is resolved considering this confirmation alongside the validation through internal telemetry and extended monitoring process.

Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and any user trying to access custom apps in the Developer Portal website is impacted.

Root cause : A previous change to sync application lists between the Developer Portal app used within the Microsoft Teams desktop client and the Microsoft Teams web app with the Developer Portal website causes apps to no longer appear at all on the Developer Portal website.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing this change to understand why it caused apps to no longer appear at all on the Developer Portal website and prevent similar impact from reoccurring.
