Issue Description : Users can’t access Outlook on the web through Android and iOS devices.
More Information : Users couldn’t access Outlook on the web through Android and iOS devices.
Final Update : 08/03/2023 07:40:00 AM – Initial feedback from some affected users stated that users were still reproducing the issue. Microsoft have determined that reverting a recent service update was needed to fully resolve this issue. They have completed reverting the update and validated with formerly afflicted users that the issue is no longer reproducible and service is restored.
Scope of impact : Some users serviced by the affected infrastructure and attempting to access Outlook on the web through Android and iOS devices were impacted.
Root cause : A recent service update, intended to optimize some service functions, contained a code issue that resulted in the impact.
Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing this recent update to understand why it contained a code issue to improve their detection of similar problems during our testing and validation cycles and prevent this issue from reoccurring.
