Issue Description : Users may be unable to click the Send button in the “Add sensitivity label” popup window in Outlook on the web.
More Information : The impact is specific to users who received the affected version of Outlook on the web, and the impact doesn’t occur in the Outlook desktop client. Affected users can apply sensitivity labels to the email, but can’t send the email messages.
Final Update : 16/03/2023 07:40:00 AM – Microsoft have successfully reverted the offending change and confirmed via telemetry that impact has been remediated.
Scope of impact : This event may impact some users who attempt to send email after applying a sensitivity label in Outlook on the web.
Root cause : An updated Outlook on the web version contains a problematic code change that’s preventing some users from clicking the Send button in the “Add sensitivity label” popup window in Outlook on the web.
Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing their standard service update procedures to avoid similar impact in the future.
