Issue Description : Users’ previously installed versions of the Milestone app are not functioning as expected.

More Information : Specifically, while the data is still present, users” pinned tabs in channels for Issue Reporting, Bulletins, Employee Ideas, Inspections, and the Milestones app are no longer visible.Users hosted in the Production environment can manually remediate impact from their environment by taking the following steps:1. Go to the Teams Power Apps personal app2. Go to ”Build” – ”Select team” – ”Installed apps” – click ”see all”3. Find the canvas app, click the 3 dots and ”add to team”4. Add the app to the team where you want to use the appUsers hosted in the GCC, GCC High, or DoD environments can manually remediate impact from their environment by taking the following steps:1. Go to the Teams Power Apps personal app2. Go to ”Build” – ”Select team” – ”Installed apps” – click ”see all”3. click ”Edit” to open the embed studio4. Go to top right corner and click ”manage pins”

Final Update : 02/02/2023 07:50:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed with some affected users and our internal test accounts that reverting the change has remediated the impact.

Scope of Impact : This issue could impact any user attempting to access the Milestone app.

Root cause : A recent service update had removed existing installations of Microsoft Teams sample app templates from Microsoft Power Apps, resulting in the impact.

Next steps : To help prevent similar impact in the future, Microsoft are further reviewing what caused the update to remove the existing installations and how they can improve their validation procedures to catch such issues before deployment.
