Issue Description : Failures when rejecting or approving Microsoft Power Automate email approvals.
More info : Users may receive an error stating “Failed to validate the signature of the actionable message card,” when attempting to approve or reject an email approval. Approvals can still be approved or rejected via Maker portal or Power Automate for Teams.
Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and any user attempting to approve or reject email approvals may be impacted.
Final Update : 02/01/2023 09:15:00 AM – Microsoft has confirmed that the errors have cleared after further targeted infrastructure restarts. Additionally, they have verified the issue is now resolved after a period of monitoring.
Root cause : A network authentication component misconfiguration was preventing users from successfully approving or rejecting Microsoft Power Automate email approvals.
Next steps : Microsoft is reviewing their network configuration procedures to prevent this issue from happening again.
