Issue Description : Admins can’t access Data Lifecycle Management or import PST files in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.

Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and admins attempting to access Data Lifecycle Management or import PST files in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal are affected.

Final Update : 24/11/2022 08:45:00 AM – The deployment of our configuration change to revert the offending update is complete, and Microsoft has confirmed with previously affected admins that this action has restored the affected functionality and impact is remediated.

Root cause : A recent update to the infrastructure responsible for facilitating some compliance portal functionality contained a code issue that resulted in impact.

Next steps : Microsoft is reviewing their Microsoft Purview compliance portal update procedures pertaining to Data Lifecycle Management functionality to prevent similar impact in the future.
