Issue Description : We are aware of an intermittent issue potentially causing a delay to mail delivery from external emails to the nhs.net domain. The maximum delay currently identified appears to be 30 minutes, however, most mails are being delivered without issue or delay. Mails sent via the SMTP Relay (or high-sending solution) could also potentially be impacted. Mails sent from nhs.net to nhs.net that are not part of the high-sending solution are not impacted.
Final Update : 16/11/2022 09:30:00 AM – After further monitoring overnight and this morning we have not seen a reoccurrence of the mail delay issue we experienced yesterday afternoon. We continue to support Microsoft so that a root cause to the issue can be found and any further updates will be provided. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
