Issue Description : Admins are not seeing alerts generated in Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and SharePoint Online.

More info : Specifically, admins configuring an alert when a file has a Sensitive Information Type (SIT) match will not receive the alert in their email. Additionally, alerts are not showing up in the Activity Explorer tool.

Scope of impact : Admins trying to view alerts and activities in Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and SharePoint Online are affected.

Final Update : 04/11/2022 12:05:00 AM – Microsoft can confirm the backfill of the affected data has progressed successfully and impact has been resolved.

Root cause : A recent service update contains a code regression where Sensitive Information Type (SIT) files aren’t being logged as expected by the underlying code, resulting in impact.
