Issue Description : Admins may have seen delays in some Security & Compliance Center reports.

More info : Impact was limited to the following reporting within the Security & Compliance Center:

– Microsoft Threat Protection Advanced Hunting
– Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management

There is no data loss.

Scope of impact : Any admin may have been impacted by this event.

Final Update : 26/10/2022 08:20:00 AM – Microsoft has confirmed through monitoring service telemetry that the backlog of accumulated requests has completed processing, restoring admins’ ability to view reports within the Security & Compliance Center as expected.

Root Cause : A recent configuration update correlated to the process in which we onboard new service components resulted in report delays within the Security & Compliance Center.

Next steps : Microsoft is examining their configuration update validation methodology to ensure that future configuration changes don’t contain similarly impacting errors.
