Issue Description : Some admins may have been unable to access the new Exchange admin center.

More info : Impact was specific to the new Exchange admin center https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com

As a workaround and while Microsoft focused on remediation, admins may have been able use the classic admin center https://outlook.office365.com/ecp

Scope of impact : Impact is specific to some admins who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Final Update : 05/09/2022 15:21:00 PM – Microsoft is reviewing service monitoring telemetry to isolate the root cause and develop a remediation plan.

Root cause : A network authentication component misconfiguration, inadvertently resulted in admins receiving a 404 error when attempting to access the new Exchange admin center.

Next steps : Microsoft is reviewing their network authentication component configuration procedures to prevent this problem for occurring again.
