Issue Status : RESOLVED

Issue Description : Admins were experiencing delays in having available permissions after activating Azure AD roles.

More Info : Impact was specific to admins activating Azure AD roles in Azure AD Privileged Identity Management (Azure AD PIM). Delays may have been as long as 15 minutes.

Scope of impact : Your organization was affected by this, and all admins eligible to Azure AD Roles may have experienced delays after activating their roles in Azure AD PIM.

Final Update : 06/09/2022 14:12:00 PM – Microsoft has verified that the issue is no longer occurring following their reversion of the offending configuration change.

Root Cause : A recent configuration change introduced a code issue which impacted our caching of data.

Next steps : Microsoft is reviewing their configuration update testing and verification process to better prevent similar issues in the future.
