Issue Status : RESOLVED

Issue Description : Some users may be unable to connect to Microsoft 365 service.

Scope of impact : This may have affected any user trying to connect to Microsoft 365 services in India.

Final Update : 15/07/2022 15:11:00 PM – Microsoft have completed an extended period of monitoring and confirmed that the issue is resolved.

Root cause : A networking issue with a third-party partner resulted in a data center in South India becoming isolated from the Microsoft network. Microsoft will provide more details within the post incident report.

Next steps : Microsoft are working with the third-party partner to investigate further and perform a post-mortem report. They are reviewing the automated failover procedures to reduce impact time.

They will publish a post-incident report within five business days.
