Information – Essential Platform Maintenance: 2nd Phase

Please be aware, we are undertaking some essential maintenance on the NHSmail platform this evening to maintain system stability and performance. The dates and times to be aware of are as follows:

During this period, whilst the work is underway, traffic will be routed via the alternative datacentre to minimise the impact on end users of the NHSmail platform. However, where any remote organisation is utilising direct IP addresses rather than DNS to access the e-mail gateways, connectivity could potentially be lost during this activity.

Although zero impact is expected, it is advised that you review your service continuity plans in advance of this change.
