Issue Description : Admins may have seen the screen sharing time column missing from a specific Microsoft Teams report since Feb 22, 2022.
More info : Impact was specific to the screen share time column in the report entitled “Microsoft Teams User Activity – Detail”.
Scope of Impact : Impact was specific to admins who were served through the affected infrastructure and were viewing the report entitled “Microsoft Teams UserActivity – Detail”.
Current Update: 06/04/2022 12:45:00 PM (BST) – Microsoft confirmed that the missing historical data has been successfully backdated and they have confirmed via telemetry that impact has been remediated.
Root cause : A recent change to infrastructure that is used to calculate and process data for Microsoft Teams usage detail and screen sharing time, caused impact to occur.
Next steps : Microsoft are working on metric monitoring by abnormal detection to better identify similar issues.
