Issue Status: RESOLVED

Description: We are aware of an intermittent issue impacting mail delivery from external domains to the nhs.net and nhs.uk domains.

Business Impact: This issue is limited to our Hemel datacentre, and so, to mitigate the end user impact, we’ve redirected all mail traffic to our Slough datacentre whilst we investigate the issue. Users may experience a short delay in receiving email from external domains where these communications were in transit before the aforementioned failover. All mail sent since the failover should be delivered as normal and without delay.

Final update : 29/03/2022 03:00:00 PM – All mail traffic is currently being routed via the Slough datacentre and all queues at the Hemel datacentre have cleared. End user impact is zero and mail is being delivered in the usual way without delay.
