Issue Description: Admins may be unable to run eDiscovery content searches in the Security & Compliance Center.
More info: This issue affected searches for content in Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Groups, and Yammer teams.
Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some admins who are served through the affected infrastructure.
Final Update – 02/12/2021 09:18:00 AM: Microsoft halted the surplus of traffic causing the excessive resource utilization on the affected infrastructure and are continuing to clear the remaining jobs to ensure all content searches are properly executed without further complications. They have confirmed via available telemetry and ServerEventLog data, as well as from reaching out to some affected admins, that eDiscovery content searches can now be run without issue.
