Information – Planned Infrastructure Changes

The NHSmail team are carrying out an infrastructure change (CHG0720154) starting Friday 10 December and completing on Saturday 11 December. Within this window there will be a brief period (5-10 minutes) during which the url checking capability of the Deep Discovery Analyser (DDA) will be unavailable. As a result, any e-mail requiring url checking will be quarantined. E-mails received in Slough without embedded url’s will be unaffected.

The potential impact will be mitigated by directing all production traffic to Hemel and by temporarily reducing the active DDA estate to those servers that can be re-patched quickly.
