Issue Description: Users were unable to permanently delete items from their Deleted Items folder in the Outlook desktop client.
As a workaround, users can access their mailboxes using Outlook on the web will be able to delete items using that connection method.
Scope of impact: Any users attempting to permanently delete items using the Outlook desktop client may have experienced this impact.
Final Update – 10/06/2021 10:00:00 AM: Microsoft have confirmed that the deployment has completed rolling out to all affected infrastructure and verified with affected users that impact has been mitigated. Service has been restored to normal.
