Issue Description: Admins are receiving DLP alerts for users outside of the scope of DLP rules.
As a temporary workaround, admins can create a new policy with SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business as the workload, making it using the parameter “OneDriveSharedByMemberOf”, and disable the existing policy. Until the issue is fixed, don’t add more workloads to a policy that is configured with “OneDriveSharedByMemberOf” and OneDrive for Business as the workload.
Scope of Impact: Impact is specific to admins who receive DLP alerts.
Current Update – 12/04/2021 07:00:00 PM: This has been confirmed that the fix deployment completed. In order to fully re mediate impact for the organization, it is needed to edit the organization’s rules for the fix to fully apply.
