NHSmail Portal – Shared Mailbox Exception Error

User impact: The Nhsmail Team are aware of an issue preventing end users from being able to access and utilise certain functions within the Nhsmail portal. Engineers are investigating to understand the scope of the issue and will provide further updates in due course.

More info: It is believed that the issue is the result of throttling of connections. A case has been raised with Microsoft and we continue to work with them.

Current status (16/03/2021 15:10): The NHSmail Team have worked with Microsoft who have performed configuration updates. As a result of these updates, the previous exception errors are no longer being observed within the portal. The NHSmail team are now monitoring the platform.
