NHS.net Connect Reference: INC46926534
Microsoft Reference: WP1466588
Issue Status: RESOLVED
Issue Description: Admins may have noticed that Cloud PC service components weren’t updating.
More info: Admins may have noticed that their Cloud PC service components, including the remote desktop (RD) agent or side-by-side stack, weren’t updating. There was no impact to general user connectivity to the Cloud PCs.
Final Update: 04/09/2026 10:41:00 AM – Microsoft has reversed the service change to revert back to their previous list of endpoint URLs and confirmed through internal testing that the impact is remediated as a result for this action.
Scope of impact: Any admin that expected updates to their Cloud PC service components may have been impacted.
Root cause: A recent service change added new endpoint URLs that weren’t publicly communicated, which prevented admins from adding them to their allow lists and caused impact by blocking the requests to update Cloud PC service components.
Next steps: Microsoft is reviewing their service change testing and validation procedures to identify and prevent similar issues with changing endpoint URLs before notifying admins moving forward.
