Issue Status: ONGOING

Issue Description: Users with Snapdragon-based Copilot+ PCs with Super Resolution enabled can’t access Microsoft Teams.

More info: Users can still access the Microsoft Teams web app to work around this issue.

Current Update: 09/09/2026 09:23:00 AM – Microsoft’s monitoring of the reliability is ongoing, and they are in the process of contacting a subset of impacted users to confirm that downloading and installing the Microsoft Teams package with the newer Super Resolution component successfully resolves the issue.

Scope of impact: Your organisation is affected by this event, and any users attempting to access the Microsoft Teams desktop client from a Snapdragon-based Copilot+ PC with Super Resolution enabled is impacted.

Root cause: A recent change to the Windows graphics path attempts to utilize an older Super Resolution component that is rejected by our code integrity policy, resulting in impact.
