Issue Description: : Users’ locations may not be accurate during iOS Microsoft Teams emergency calls.

More info: Affected users are still able to make iOS emergency calls but their location may be inaccurate to the responder. This is specific to users on iOS version 26 and newer.

Current Update: 11/08/2026 09:13:00 AM – Microsoft has identified that changes to iOS API infrastructure has inadvertently resulted in user location data to become inaccurate during iOS emergency calls. They are developing a fix in their internal environment to remediate impact and restore location data functionality.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to any user on iOS 26 or newer making emergency calls using the Microsoft Teams application.

Root cause: Changes to iOS API infrastructure has inadvertently resulted in user location data to become inaccurate during iOS emergency calls.
