Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Admins couldn’t create or modify iOS VPN profiles in Microsoft Intune.

Current Update: 01/07/2026 08:56:00 AM – : Microsoft has validated and completed the deployment of their planned rollback which has updated the service version to match the currently deployed iOS version of Microsoft Intune. Through monitoring of service health telemetry, they have confirmed that the issue has been remediated and all users are now able to create or modify iOS VPN profiles.

Scope of impact: Your organization was affected by this event, and users attempting to create or modify VPN profiles in Microsoft Intune on iOS devices were impacted.

Root cause: A mismatch between the supporting service and the iOS version of Microsoft Intune was resulting in impact.

Next update by: Microsoft are continuing to optimize their service update deployment process in order to minimize version mismatches across mobile operating systems.
