Current Update: 30/04/2026 09:01:00 AM Microsoft has received reports of an issue in which some users are unable to copy and paste text from Windows 365 Cloud PCs to local devices. Their investigation determined that impact is due to a recent change which introduced a regression and broke the legacy text copy, resulting in clipboard content not being requested from remote sessions and the legacy copy path not being triggered. They have initiated deployment of a fix to correct the code, which they are tracking and expect to complete by Friday, May 1, 2026. Once the fix reaches your environment, users must refresh or reload the Windows App Web client, (browser tab) to receive the fix. Furthermore, once the fix is deployed, if users keep an existing session open, the issue may persist. A refresh ensures the updated client is loaded and clipboard functionality is restored.

Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and users attempting to copy and paste text from Cloud PCs to local devices are impacted. This section may be updated as the investigation progresses.
