Issue Description: Some users can’t join Microsoft Teams meetings on Windows devices.

More info: Users can restart their Microsoft Teams client to access meetings.

This issue is specific to joining scheduled meetings or joining meetings through links.

Current Update: 24/04/2026 09:27:00 AM– Microsoft has deployed an updated version of Edge to replace the offending version. In parallel, they are monitoring the service health telemetry and aim for impact to alleviate as expected by their next communications update.

Scope of impact: : Your organization is affected by this event, and some users attempting to join a Microsoft Teams meeting are impacted. This information may be updated as our investigation continues.

Root cause: A recent Edge release introduced a regression that’s resulting in failures for some users when attempting to join meetings in Microsoft Teams.
