Issue Description: Users may be unable to create or edit agents in Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Final Update: 21/04/2026 08:42:00 AM– Microsoft has identified a portion of infrastructure responsible for responding to requests in Copilot that was timing out, causing errors when creating or editing agents. They are telemetry indicated that the service recovered without manual intervention, and as a precaution to prevent further impact, they increased the timeout duration.

Scope of impact: This issue may have potentially impacted any user attempting to create or edit agents in Copilot.

Root cause: A portion of infrastructure responsible for responding to requests in Copilot was timing out, causing errors with creating or editing agents.

Next steps: Microsoft are continuing our analysis of the impacted of the affected infrastructure to better understand what triggered the initial degradation, which will help us in preventing similar events from occurring in the future.
