More info: When attempting to adjust camera brightness, users may receive a message stating “Adjust brightness is unavailable. Check your network connection, or contact your IT admin.”
Current Update: 16/04/2026 8:54:00 AM– Microsoft has confirmed that the ability to adjust camera brightness was previously disabled due to an unrelated issue where crashes in Microsoft Teams meetings were occurring due to a code issue relating to the setting. They have corrected the code issue, and are testing re-enabling this feature in their internal testing environment to ensure no adverse effects occur. Their current timeline expects that validation will complete, and their fix to re-enable the feature will begin deployment to the impacted environment on Monday, April 20, 2026.
