Issue Description: Resource accounts are normally exempt from MFA on the NHS.net platform; however, some accounts are being prompted for MFA unexpectedly.

Current Update: 28/01/2026 16:30 PM – We have received reports that certain Resource accounts, commonly used with Teams Meeting Devices, are being prompted for MFA despite being exempt. We are currently investigating the root cause and have identified a probable contributing factor. Initial mitigations have been applied, but further action is required, and the team is assessing the most suitable approach to fully resolve the issue. Further updates will be provided through this announcement and via the associated tickets as soon as they become available. Thank you for your patience while we continue our investigation.
