Final Update: 22/12/2025 09:39:00 AM – Microsoft have re-enabled the correct code configuration and confirmed that impact has been resolved.
Scope of impact: Some users attempting to share their screen or video during Microsoft Teams meetings when using VDI with Omnissa devices may have been impacted.
Root cause: A recent update contained a change that set an incorrect configuration for a section of code that helps facilitate the sharing process in this scenario, which caused impact to occur.
Next Steps: Microsoft are reviewing their update procedures to better identify similar issues during our development and testing cycles.
