Issue Description: Users may have been unable to upload files in Microsoft Viva Engage that are equal to or lesser than 4MBs.

Final Update: 02/12/2025 09:28:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed that their rollback of a recent service deployment that contained changes intended to address an unrelated component governance issue was successful in resolving the issue and verified through further monitoring that impact has been fully remediated.

Scope of impact: Your organization was affected by this event, and users attempting to upload files in Microsoft Viva Engage that are 4MBs or smaller may have been impacted.

Root cause: A recent service deployment that contained changes intended to address an unrelated component governance issue resulted in impact.
