Issue Description: Users’ Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365) may crash when attempting to open it.

Final Update: 14/11/2025 08:00:00 AM –Following Microsoft’s reversion of the impacting update to the service, our internal service telemetry has validated that memory consumption has returned to expected levels, and that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact: Any user attempting to open Copilot may be impacted by this event.

Root Cause: A regression contained within a recent service update caused excessive memory consumption, resulting in Copilot crashing when launched.
