Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users may be unable to see some teams or channels displayed in the Microsoft Teams mobile app.

Final Update: 28/05/2025 08:46:00 AM – Following Microsoft completed validations their fix has been made available within the App Store for download. Users who have automatic updates enabled will begin to see the automatic upgrade of the Microsoft Teams mobile app to version 7.9.0. They are recommending that affected users who don’t have automatic updates enabled or users who don’t wish to wait for the automatic update should manually download the latest version of the Microsoft Teams mobile app (7.9.0) from the App Store to remediate the impact.

Scope of impact: Any user may be unable to see some teams or channels displayed in the Microsoft Teams mobile app.

Root cause: Some components of service infrastructure responsible for supporting the Microsoft Teams mobile app are missing a code pathway necessary for generating some teams or channels, leading to impact.

Next Steps: Microsoft are further analyzing the affected service infrastructure components to better understanding the source for the missing code pathways and so we can help prevent similar issues in the future.
