Issue Description: Users may be unable to search their email in Outlook on the web and may get an error.
More info: Users that have reported this problem encounter a “Something went wrong. Please try again later.” error message. Where possible, users can bypass the problem by utilizing a different client to search for their email, such as the Outlook desktop app.
Final Update: 01/11/2024 09:45:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed that the rate of search errors has returned to normal as a result of resyncing the affected infrastructure. Affected users have reported that searches are now operating as expected and they’ve determined that this issue is resolved.
Scope of impact: Some users attempting to search for email in Outlook on the web may be unable to.
Root cause: A recent configuration update to Outlook on the web that wasn’t applied to some users Outlook on the web client.
