Issue Description: Users may be unable to search their email in Outlook on the web and may get an error.
More info: Users that have reported this problem encounter a “Something went wrong. Please try again later.” error message. Where possible, users can bypass the problem by utilizing a different client to search for their email, such as the Outlook desktop app.
Current Update: 31/10/2024 09:30:00 AM – The process of resyncing Microsoft’s update on the remaining affected infrastructure is nearing completion, and while they suspect that this issue is largely resolved, they’ll continue monitoring to ensure the process completes to resolve this issue of all impacted users.
Scope of impact: Some users attempting to search for email in Outlook on the web may be unable to.
Root cause: A recent configuration update to Outlook on the web that wasn’t applied to some users Outlook on the web client.
