Issue Status: ONGOING
Issue Description: Users without proper licenses are able to see the Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365) app button within Microsoft Teams.
More info: When users attempt to click on the Copilot app button within Microsoft Teams it fails and they are subsequently unable to navigate to other areas of Microsoft Teams, such as chats, calendar, and more. Users who enter this scenario can restart their Microsoft Teams session to mitigate.
Current Update: 29/10/2024 08:48:00 AM – Microsoft are continuing to monitor the deployment of the fix, and it’s proceeding as expected. Customers within the Microsoft 365 Technology Adoption Program (TAP) and Preview channels may already begin seeing remediation, with the Teams version 24100324914. Additionally, they are reviewing options to expedite the deployment of the fix for all affected customers and they will provide a more precise completion date for the fix once available.
Scope of impact: This issue only affects users without proper Copilot licenses that are using Microsoft Teams.
