Issue Description: Users attending town halls can’t view the video stream in the Microsoft Teams mobile app for iOS 18 devices.

Current Update: 26/09/2024 08:45:00 AM – Microsoft have completed the development and validation of the fix which they’re preparing for deployment. Once the deployment is in progress, they’ll provide a timeline for the resolution.

Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and some users attempting to view video streams in town halls from the Microsoft Teams mobile app in any iOS 18 device is impacted.

Root cause: A recent iOS update, when interacting with Microsoft teams, prevents townhall attendees from seeing the video stream.
