Issue Description: Users may be unable to access groups from their ‘Favorites’ list in Outlook on the web or the new Outlook desktop app.

Final Update: 31/07/2024 08:55:00 AM – Microsoft have completed reverting the problematic change and confirmed with internal testing that the issue is resolved. If users are still impacted, they recommend that they refresh their Outlook app to experience remediation.

Scope of impact: Some users attempting to access groups from their ”Favorites” list in Outlook on the web or the new Outlook desktop client may be impacted.

Root cause: A recent change to optimize the process of loading the Favorites list in Outlook on the web or the new Outlook desktop client introduced a regression that’s leading to the impact.
