NHSmail Reference: INC43171205
Microsoft Reference: MO794672
Issue Status: RESOLVED
Issue Description: Users couldn’t send or modify newly created Loop components and loading some Loop components may fail.
More info: Some newly created Loop components may have opened in “read only mode” and couldn’t be modified, and loading Loop components may have failed with an error stating “Content didn’t autosave properly and can’t be sent.”
Additionally, some users couldn’t create or load meeting notes in the Microsoft Teams calendar or in a Microsoft Teams meeting. Affected users saw an error stating “We can’t load meeting notes right now. Please try again later.”
Final Update: 22/05/2024 08:37:00 AM – Upon deployment of Microsoft’s change to reroute some of the requests from the affected subset of storage infrastructure and a period of monitoring service health, they have determined that the service is operating as expected and this issue is resolved.
Scope of impact: Your organization was affected by this event, and all users couldn’t send or modify newly created Loop components, or some Loop components failed to load.
Root cause: An unexpected influx in traffic caused a subset of storage infrastructure leveraged when fetching data for the Content Delivery Network (CDN) to operate in a suboptimal state, resulting in the impact.
Next steps: Microsoft are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the offending influx in traffic to better detect and prevent issues like this from occurring in the future.
