Issue Description: Users accessing their Outlook calendar using some connection methods may see items with incorrect dates and times.
More info: This issue specifically affects users accessing their Outlook calendar using Outlook for Mac or the Outlook iOS or Android apps. Users viewing their calendar using other connection methods are unaffected.
Final Update: 19/03/2024 09:08:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed that the deployment of the fix has completed, and the impact is remediated.
Scope of impact: Any user accessing their Outlook calendar through Outlook for Mac or the Outlook iOS or Android app may be impacted.
Root cause: A recent update to the data pathways responsible for syncing calendar items introduced a code issue that’s preventing all elements of calendar items from syncing as expected within the impact connection methods, leading to impact.
Next steps: Microsoft are further reviewing the recent update to understand how the code issue was introduced, and to understand what prevented it from being detected in our update testing and validation procedures, which will allow them to prevent similar issues in future updates.
