Issue Description: Users may be unable to access the Forms pane within Microsoft PowerPoint.

More Info: Users who are members of Education organizations additionally may have been unable to access the Forms pane within Microsoft OneNote.

Where possible, users could’ve accessed the data in the Forms pane by navigating to the Microsoft Forms portal directly in their web browser.

Final Update: 01/03/2024 08:40:00 AM – The process of reverting the problem update is complete, and our manual testing confirms that this issue is resolved.

Scope of impact:Any user attempting to access the Forms pane within Microsoft PowerPoint may have been impacted. Additionally, users who are members of Education organizations and were attempting to access the Forms pane within Microsoft OneNote may have been impacted.

Root cause: A recent update to the Microsoft Forms code base responsible for facilitating the affected integrations introduced a code issue, resulting in the impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their validation and update procedures to detect and prevent issues like this prior to deployment in the future.
