Issue Description : Admins may see that Windows Autopatch devices incorrectly show as “not ready” in the Microsoft Endpoint Manager portal.
More info : Affected admins may see the issue reflected in the Quality Update report as well as the Microsoft Endpoint Manager portal.
Final Update : 17/08/2023 16:50:00 PM – Microsoft have completed deployment of the fix and have confirmed through service telemetry that the impact is now fully remediated.
Scope of impact : A subset of admins attempting to view Autopatch devices in the Microsoft Endpoint Manager portal may be impacted.
Root cause : A recent change in the service’s business logic has introduced a code issue which is causing the ancillary databases to incorrectly report the Autopatch device status in the Microsoft Endpoint Manager portal and the Quality Update report.
Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing this recent change to understand why and how it introduced a code issue to improve their testing and validation cycles in order to prevent similar impact from reoccurring.
