Final Update : 23/03/2023 08:35:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed that their fix has been fully deployed to the affected environment and impact has been successfully remediated.

Scope of impact : Any user attempting to access the Forensic Evidence tab of the compliance portal is potentially impacted.

Root cause : A code change introduced a parameter that the service is unable to process, ultimately preventing users from accessing the Forensic Evidence tab of the compliance portal and resulting in impact.

Next steps : Microsoft are continuing to investigate the offending parameter processing issue to gain further insight into the source of the issue and prevent similar impact in the future.
