Issue Description : Errors preventing access to some Microsoft 365 services when accessed through web browsers.

More Information : Users may have seen a service unavailable or a certificate transparency error page in their web browser.Impact was specific to users attempting to access Microsoft 365 services on web browsers. Users could’ve accessed services as expected through desktop and mobile clients.

Final Update : 20/03/2023 10:03:00 AM – Microsoft have determined that a Transport Layer Security (TLS) certificate update resulted in impact. They deployed new certificates to the services, which has remediated impact.

Scope of impact : This issue may have impact any user attempting to access Microsoft 365 services on web browsers.

Root cause : A TLS certificate update resulted in impact.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing the certificate update deployment and testing procedures to find ways of preventing this issue from reoccurring.
