Issue Status : RESOLVED

Issue Description : Users were unable to join one-to-one calls or meetings via the Microsoft Teams desktop client.

More info : As a workaround, users were able to join through the Microsoft Teams web or mobile app if available.

Scope of impact : Your organization was affected by this event, and some users attempting to join one-to-one calls or meetings through the desktop client were impacted.

Current Update : 21/10/2022 09:35:00 AM – The process of reverting the offending feature change is complete and Microsoft has confirmed via telemetry that this issue is resolved.

Root cause : A recent feature change introduced a problem that resulted in the impact.

Next steps : Microsoft is reviewing their validation and update procedures to detect and prevent issues like this prior to deployment in the future.
