Issue Description : Users may be unable to view other users’ video feeds in Microsoft Teams meetings.

More info : Some users may also be unable share their video when initiating a meeting. Users may be able to turn their camera off and then back on or resize the window to avoid these issues.

Scope of impact : This issue affected some users when viewing other users’ video feeds or when attempting to share their video in Microsoft Teams meetings.

Final Update : 18/08/2022 09:15:00 AM – The fix deployment has completed and remediated impact for all users.

Root cause : A code issue within build 1.0.0.2022071828 of Microsoft Teams is affecting the video layout logic that is necessary for video rendering to begin, resulting in impact.

Next steps: Microsoft is reviewing their new build testing procedures to identify improvements that will prevent similar code issues from occurring in the future.
